Stronger Together: Build The Fitness Project
An online fundraiser rooted in love, family, and fitness.
Event dates: TBD - keep an eye out when date is finalized!
Location: Online—participate from anywhere.
Help us build a place where people belong.
Walking into a gym can be intimidating. Starting over can be even harder. The Fitness Project wants to create a welcoming community where people find encouragement, build strength, and have someone beside them along the way.
Our nonprofit brings together physical fitness, spiritual encouragement, and meaningful relationships. We believe caring for ourselves helps us show up better for our families and the people around us—and that lasting change is easier when we pursue it together.
Your support will help us equip the gym and build the foundation for consistent, community-focused programs.
What your donation will support
Workout equipment: Rowers, bikes, barbells, wall balls, sandbags, jump ropes, resistance bands, and other tools for adaptable group workouts (Detailed List Below)
Gym essentials: Rubber flooring, a gym timer, and equipment storage to support organized classes.
Program development: Beginner-friendly fitness, strength and conditioning, endurance training, and mobility sessions.
Access and ongoing operations: Resources to help keep participation accessible and support the costs of running the gym.
Recovery Support: Specialized equipment to promote and support recovery from inflammation, fatigue, and promote mental wellness.
We will prioritize purchases based on current equipment, available funding, and what is needed to serve participants effectively.
What we’re working toward
Our initial goal is one scheduled, coached class Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, with additional sessions as volunteer availability and community participation grow.
Planned offerings include group fitness, introductory sessions for newcomers, strength and endurance training, nutrition coaching and opportunities for accountability, connection, and faith-based encouragement.
Class schedules and program launch dates will be announced as equipment, volunteer staffing, and operating preparations are ready.
We need people, too.
We’re looking for volunteer coaches willing to lead a recurring class—even one class a week can make a difference. We also welcome help with organizing equipment, fundraising, and welcoming participants.

Our Starting Class Schedule
The Fitness Project will begin with three structured, coached classes each week:
Tuesday: Time to be announced
Thursday: Time to be announced
Saturday morning: Time to be announced
Classes will include a guided warm-up, instruction, a planned workout, and a cooldown, with modifications for different fitness levels.
We’re seeking volunteer coaches who can commit to leading one or more of these weekly classes. As our coaching team, equipment, and participation grow, we hope to expand the schedule.
